How to store and serve Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Modena
How to store it
Thanks to the long aging process of traditional balsamic vinegar, there is very little risk that it will go bad if stored correctly. Balsamic vinegar should be kept in glass jars that can be well sealed and stored far from any strong aromas.
How to use it
When cooking with balsamic vinegar, it should always be the last ingredient to be added to a dish. Use less than a teaspoon per person so that it doesn’t overwhelm the other flavors.
What to serve it with
- Strawberries
- Pineapple
- Parmigiano Reggiano
- Panna cotta
- Cream-flavored gelato
- Grilled or boiled meats
- Shellfish
- Fresh or grilled vegetables
- Vegetable or pasta salads
