PLUS® Angel Hair

These fine strands of golden, nutty pasta are a traditional favorite. They can be found on the tables of family dining rooms and small trattorie across Italy, where they are dressed with the best of the local flavors, including fresh shrimp and vegetables in Naples, rich basil pesto in Liguria, or creamy asparagus sauce in Venice.

Capellini, or "fine hair", is the perfect choice when you want to pair a light, refined sauce with a delicate cut of pasta.

PLUS pairs well with tomato-based sauces and sauces with lots of fresh vegetables. Oil-based sauces work well with all PLUS shapes. Typically we do not recommend using meat-based sauces with PLUS shapes.

1
Cook Barilla PLUS® in boiling water 6 minutes, then drain and serve according to the recipe directions.  For more tender pasta, boil an additional minute.  Due to its higher protein content Barilla PLUS® takes several extra minutes to cook than traditional pasta.
