Ingredients for 4 people


3 1/3 cups almonds (17 ounces)
2 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons water
Oil as needed



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 10 minutes cooking
1. Coarsely chop almonds

2. Melt sugar in a saucepan with three tablespoons of water

3. Add almonds and stir until the mixture is dark golden brown

4. Pour onto a greased marble or baking sheet

5. Cut into diamonds and cool
