Ingredients for 4 people


3 cups flour
5 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup white wine
1 tablespoon anise seeds

Preparation 15 minutes preparation + 10 minutes cooking

Combine flour, sugar, white wine and oil and knead until smooth.

Add anise seeds.

Roll dough into ropes and then shape them into rings by wrapping them around your finger and securing the ends (they should look like taralli).

Arrange small ring cakes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated 325°F oven for about 10 minutes, until brown and crunchy.
