Barilla® Cellentani with Tuna

First course


Ingredients for 8 people

1 Box Barilla® Cellentani
3 anchovies
1 Can tuna
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic
1 pound tomatoes
1 tablespoon chopped oregano
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large pan over medium heat

2. Add whole garlic clove, but remove before it browns

3. Add cleaned, rinsed, boned and chopped anchovies and sauté for 2 minutes

4. Add tomatoes that have been peeled after plunging in boiling water, seeded and coarsely chopped

5. Simmer for 8 minutes

6. Add tuna, broken up with hands, and oregano

7. Season with salt and pepper and cook for two more minutes

8. Meanwhile, boil pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package directions

9. Drain and dress with the tuna sauce before serving
