Ingredients for 4 people


1 box BARILLA Ditalini
4 green tomatoes chopped and peeled (keep the peel)
1/3 onion chopped
2 garlic cloves
2 cilantro stems
2 tablespoons oil
40 oz beef broth
6 baby nopales sliced
2 eggs
beaten
Salt and pepper to taste



Preparation 30 minutes preparation + 20 minutes cooking
1. BLEND the tomatoes with the onions, garlic and cilantro

2. HEAT 1 tablespoon of oil and cook this green tomato sauce and season to taste

3. STRAIN the green sauce when cooked

4. BRING the beef broth to a boil and add the sauce

5. ADD the Barilla pasta and cook following the cooking time on the instructions

6. MEANWHILE, cook the nopales with the tomato peels in salt water

7. ADD the nopales once the pasta is ready

8. BRING to a boil and add the beaten eggs little by little with a spoon, letting them drop in a thread

9. SERVE
