Barilla Ditalini Pasta Salad with Roasted Peppers, Olives, Capers & Mozzarella Cheese

Ingredients for 8 people


1 box Barilla Ditalini
5 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 clove chopped garlic
½ cup chopped olives
¼ tsp chopped capers
2 ea diced roasted red bell peppers
1 ball diced mozzarella
5 leaves chiffonade basil



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 10 minutes cooking
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil

2. Season with salt and cook pasta according to directions

3. Drain and toss with 1 tbsp olive oil, cool down on a sheet tray

4. In a small skillet heat 1 tbsp olive oil and saute chopped garlic until slightly yellow in color

5. Set aside

6. In a large bowl combine pasta, garlic, olives, fresh basil, lemon juice, olive oil, capers, cheese and basil

7. Let sit for 30 minutes before eating
