Ingredients for 7 people


1 box Barilla® Fettuccine Rigate
1 jar Barilla® Chunky Traditional Sauce
1 small onion diced
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 butternut squash diced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 green onions cut on the bias
½ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese grated



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 20 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil MEANWHILE in a large skillet sauté butternut squash for 4-5 minutes or until golden and cooked through

2. ADD onion and sauté for 2 additional minutes

3. ADD the sauce and heavy cream, reduce to medium heat and season with salt and pepper; simmer for 3-4 minutes

4. COOK pasta according to package directions

5. DRAIN pasta and toss with the sauce and cheese
