Ingredients for 4 people


1 package Barilla® Fettuccine Rigate
1 jar Barilla® Chunky Traditional Sauce
1 small onion diced
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 butternut squash diced
salt and pepper to taste
2 green onions
½ cup parmigiano cheese grated



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 20 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. MEANWHILE in a large skillet sauté butternut squash for 4-5 minute or until golden and cooked through

3. ADD the onion and saute for 2 additional minutes

4. ADD the sauce and heavy cream, reduce to medium heat and season with salt and pepper; simmer for 3-4 minutes

5. COOK the pasta according to the package directions

6. DRAIN and toss the pasta with the sauce and cheese

7. BEFORE serving top with green onions
