Ingredients for 4 people


1 package Barilla Gemelli
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
¼ teaspoon chili flakes
1 clove garlic (chopped)
1 bunch asparagus
¼ cup pistachios (chopped)
1 pint cherry tomatoes (halved)
salt to taste
½ cup parmigiano cheese



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 20 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil, meanwhile in a large skillet saute garlic and red chili flakes in olive oil for 1-2 minutes over medium heat

2. ADD the asparagus and saute for 3-4 minutes, season with salt

3. COOK the pasta according to the package directions and drain 1 minute less than required cooking time; reserve ½ cup of cooking liquid

4. TOSS the pasta with the sauce, cooking liquid and cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional minute

5. REMOVE the pasta from the stove and add the Parmigiano cheese, toss to combine
