Ingredients for 8 people


1 BOX Barilla® Gemelli
1 JAR Barilla Spicy Marinara Sauce
1/4 POUND Prosciutto Sliced Thin
1 CUP Water
3 TABLESPOONS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 LEAVES Fresh Basil Torn



Preparation 5 minutes preparation + 10 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. COOK prosciutto in a medium sized skillet over medium-low heat until crisp; transfer to a paper towel to drain

3. ADD Spicy Marinara sauce to the skillet

4. Fill the empty jar with 1 cup of water and add to the pan

5. Heat the sauce for at least 10 minutes

6. COOK Gemelli according to package directions

7. Drain and toss the pasta with the sauce

8. Add the grated cheese, oil, and basil; mix well

9. CRUMBLE prosciutto on top to finish and serve
