Ingredients for 8 people


1 BOX Barilla® Gemelli
1 JAR Barilla® Spicy Marinara Sauce
4 TABLESPOONS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 POUND Italian Sausage
2 CLOVES Garlic Minced
1 TEASPOON Red Chili Pepper Flakes
1 TEASPOON Fresh Thyme Chopped
1/2 CUP Romano Cheese Grated



Preparation 5 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. BRING  a large  pot of water to a boil

2. HEAT olive oil in a large skillet

3. Add Italian sausage and sauté until brown, breaking up sausage with a spoon

4. ADD garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute

5. ADD Spicy Marinara Sauce and simmer 5 minutes

6. COOK Gemelli according to package directions

7. Drain and add pasta to sauce

8. Mix well

9. Toss with grated cheese
