Ingredients for 4 people


1 box Barilla® Mostaccioli
2 garlic cloves sliced
1 jalapeño pepper sliced
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 jar Barilla® Chunky Traditional Sauce
1 cup kalamata olives sliced without pits
½ cup romano cheese
6 basil leaves sliced thin
salt to taste



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to boil and cook the pasta according to package directions

2. MEANWHILE sauté jalapeño and garlic in olive oil for one minute or until garlic turns a pale yellow color

3. ADD the sauce and one cup of water, season with salt and bring to simmer

4. DRAIN the pasta and toss with sauce and olives

5. STIR in Romano and basil before serving
