Ingredients for 4 people


1 box BARILLA Pastina
1 Epazote stem
2 tablespoons Mexican pepperleaf minced
2 quarts chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
6 heads of scallions sliced
2 minced garlic cloves
2 handfuls squash blossoms without stems clean and washed cut to taste
2 Poblano chili peppers sliced



Preparation 20 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. BOIL the herbs in the chicken broth, then add the Barilla Pastina and season to taste with salt and pepper

2. MEANWHILE heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pot and first cook the onions until translucent, then the garlic; add the squash blossoms and finally, the sliced peppers

3. SEASON to taste with salt and pepper and remove from the heat

4. REMOVE the herbs from the broth once the pasta is cooked

5. ADD the blossom sauce and bring it to a boil

6. SERVE
