Ingredients for 8 people


1 JAR Barilla® Tuscan Herb Sauce
1 BOX Barilla® Penne
2 TABLESPOONS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 POUND Italian Sausage
1/2 CUP Red Wine
1/2 CUP Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese
1 TABLESPOON Fresh Italian Parsley Chopped  



Preparation 5 minutes preparation + 20 minutes cooking
1. In a large skillet, heat the extra virgin olive oil

2. Add the Italian sausage and brown well

3. Deglaze with red wine and season with salt and black pepper

4. Add the Barilla® Tuscan Herb Sauce and bring to a simmer

5. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, season with salt

6. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions

7. Drain and toss with the sauce and shredded cheese

8. Sprinkle with parsley before serving
