Ingredients for 4 people


1 box Barilla Plus Farfalle
1 jar Barilla Tuscan Herb-Toscana Sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic
½ lb quartered Brussel sprouts
1 ea small diced butternut squash
salt and black pepper to taste
½ cup Romano cheese
1 tbsp parsley
½ cup water

Preparation minutes preparation + minutes cooking

Bring a large and small pot of water to a boil.

Blanch the brussel sprouts in small pot and cool down, quarter.

In a large skillet saute butternut squash in olive oil until slightly browned.

Add quartered brussel sprouts and sear on all sides.

Add chopped garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add Barilla Tuscan Herb Sauce and water, bring to a simmer.

Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and toss with sauce.

Toss with cheese and parsley to finish.
