Barilla PLUS® Farfalle with Pine Nuts, Kale & Pecorino Cheese

Ingredients for 7 people

1 box Barilla PLUS® Farfalle
¼ cup pine nuts
1 clove garlic peeled and chopped
½ teaspoon chili flakes (or to taste)
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 bunches kale chopped
½ cup white wine dry
½ cup pecorino cheese shredded
salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. SAUTÉ pine nuts in a large skillet over medium heat until slightly golden in color, place on a tray to cool

2. BRING a large pot of water to a boil, add salt

3. SAUTÉ garlic and chili flakes with olive oil in the same skillet over medium heat, about 2 minutes

4. ADD kale and sauté for 3-4 minutes or until softened; season with salt and black pepper

5. DEGLAZE with white wine and reduce completely, approximately 2-3 minutes

6. COOK pasta according to package directions

7. DRAIN pasta and toss it with the kale mixture in a large mixing bowl

8. TOP with pecorino cheese and pine nuts before serving
