Ingredients for 7 people

1 BOX Barilla Plus® Penne
1/4 CUP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 CUP White Onion Chopped
2 CLOVES Garlic Minced
1 POUND Asparagus Trimmed Sliced On A Bias
2 1/2 CUPS Cherry Tomatoes Halved
2 CUPS Yellow Squash Chopped
6 LEAVES Fresh Basil Cut Into Strips

Preparation 15 minutes preparation + 24 minutes cooking
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil

2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high Heat

3. Add onions and garlic

4. Sauté 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally

5. Add asparagus and continue 3 Additional minutes

6. Add tomatoes and squash

7. Sauté an Additional 2-3 minutes, or until tomatoes are softened

8. SEASON with salt and black pepper to taste

9. Cook PLUS® Penne according to package directions

10. Drain pasta

11. Immediately Add hot pasta to the skillet

12. Mix well

13. TRANSFER to a serving bowl or platter; garnish with fresh basil strips and serve
