Ingredients for 7 people


1 BOX Barilla® PLUS® Spaghetti
2 CUPS Barilla® Tomato & Basil Sauce
3 TABLESPOONS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
6 OUNCES Fresh Baby Spinach Chopped
1/2 TEASPOON Red Chili Pepper Flakes
3/4 TEASPOON
Salt 1/2 CUP Heavy Cream (May Substitute Half-And-Half)
1/2 CUP Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese Freshly Grated



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. HEAT olive oil in a large skillet

3. Add spinach and red pepper flakes

4. Sauté until tender (approximately 2 minutes)

5. ADD Tomato & Basil Sauce, salt and cream

6. Simmer 2 minutes over medium heat

7. COOK PLUS® Spaghetti according to package directions

8. Drain PLUS® Spaghetti reserving 1-2 cups of cooking water

9. ADD PLUS® Spaghetti to skillet and toss with sauce mixture

10. Add cooking water to thin sauce if desired

11. Sprinkle with Parmigiano cheese and serve
