Ingredients for 7 people


1 box Barilla® PLUS® Spaghetti
1 small red onion julienne
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 5 cups kale packed julienne
1 clove garlic minced
1 ½ cups fava beans peeled
1 jar Barilla® Traditional Sauce
1 tablespoon fresh marjoram leaves
1/3 cup Romano cheese shredded Salt and black pepper to taste



Preparation 20 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. Meanwhile, in a skillet sauté onion in olive oil over LOW HEAT until soft and translucent

3. ADD kale and garlic, cook for 4-5 minutes or until kale is wilted and season with salt and pepper

4. ADD fava beans and cook one minute

5. POUR in the Traditional sauce and bring to a simmer

6. Meanwhile, COOK pasta according to package directions, drain reserving ½ cup cooking water

7. ADD the cooking water to the skillet and toss with the sauce

8. FOLD in the fresh marjoram and GARNISH with cheese before serving
