Ingredients for 7 people


1 box Barilla® Plus® Spaghetti
1 jar Barilla®Tomato & Basil Sauce
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
1/3 cup pine nuts



Preparation 5 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium heat

3. Sauté crushed red pepper and pine nuts about 2-3 minutes or until pine nuts are golden

4. ADD Tomato & Basil Sauce to skillet; heat through

5. COOK PLUS® Spaghetti according to package directions

6. Drain pasta, reserving ½ cup of the pasta cooking water

7. ADD hot PLUS® Spaghetti to sauce; stir in reserved pasta water as needed

8. Add Pecorino Romano cheese; mix well

9. TRANSFER to a serving platter or bowl and serve
