Ingredients for 8 people


1 BOX Barilla® Rigatoni
1 JAR Barilla ®Marinara Sauce
4 TABLESPOONS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 SMALL Shallot Chopped
3 CUPS Button Mushrooms Sliced
15 OUNCES Ricotta Cheese
6 LEAVES Fresh Basil Chopped



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 22 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat

3. Add shallots and sauté for 5 minutes or until translucent

4. ADD mushrooms and cook an additional 3 to 4 minutes

5. ADD Marinara sauce and ricotta cheese to skillet

6. Simmer for 4 minutes and set aside

7. COOK Rigatoni according to package directions

8. Drain pasta; add to hot sauce and toss

9. TRANSFER to a serving platter or bowl

10. Garnish with chopped basil and serve
