Ingredients for 8 people


1 BOX Barilla® Rotini
1 POUND Broccoli
1/3 CUP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 CLOVES Garlic Chopped



Preparation 15 minutes preparation + 17 minutes cooking
1. WASH broccoli and cut into small pieces

2. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

3. Add salt to taste

4. ADD Rotini and cook according to package directions

5. During last 2 minutes of cook time, add the broccoli

6. Drain, reserving ½ cup of the pasta cooking water; set aside

7. HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat

8. ADD garlic and red pepper and cook until garlic turns yellow

9. ADD drained broccoli and pasta to skillet

10. Add some pasta cooking water if desired

11. TRANSFER to a serving platter or bowl and sprinkle with Pecorino Romano cheese
