Ingredients for 4 people

1 box BARILLA Spaghetti
1/3 onion chopped
3 marjoram stems (use leaves only)
4 garlic cloves minced
1 lime juiced
8 oz. octopus diced
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup multi-colored peppercorns
3 thyme stems (use leaves only) minced
2 parsley stems minced
Salt to taste

Preparation 20 minutes preparation + 45 minutes cooking
1. BLEND the onion with the leaves of a marjoram stem, a clove of garlic and the lime juice

2. MARINADE the octopus in this mix and refrigerate for at least 1 hour

3. Then add 3 cups of hot water and boil until slightly tender

4. Once ready, drain

5. HEAT ⅓ cup of oil in a skillet and cook the garlic and peppercorns until translucent

6. ADD the octopus, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle the parsley and thyme and cook until octopus is a golden brown

7. COOK Barilla Spaghetti ‘al dente’ following the instructions on the box

8. Once the pasta is ready, drain and combine with the mix you made earlier

9. GARNISH with the leaves of a marjoram stem
