Ingredients for 8 people


2 tablespoons Barilla
100% Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 medium white onion sliced
1 cup crispy bacon sliced
1 pound asparagus cut on a bias
1/3 cup dry white wine
1 Jar Barilla® Tomato & Basil Sauce
1 box Barilla® Spaghetti Rigati Pasta
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon Italian Parsley chopped
1 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese salt and black pepper



Preparation 15 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. In a large skillet sweat onion in olive oil, over low medium heat until translucent

2. In a separate small skillet render the bacon until crispy; drain off excess fat on paper towel and set aside

3. Add asparagus and sauté one minute over high heat

4. Deglaze with wine

5. Add Barilla sauce, season with salt and black pepper, and bring to a simmer

6. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions, drain and toss with the sauce

7. Stir in butter, parsley and cheese before serving

8. Top with bacon and serve
