Ingredients for 4 people


1 package Barilla® Spaghetti Rigati
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 chicken thighs shredded
1 small onion diced
½ cup Marsala wine
1 jar Barilla® Bacon and Cheese Sauce
1 cup heavy cream
salt and black pepper to taste
8 leaves fresh basil
½ cup parmigiano cheese shredded



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 25 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. MEANWHILE in a large skillet roast the chicken in 2 tbsp of olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side, when cooked remove from the skillet and set aside to cool down

3. GENTLY shred the chicken once cool

4. In the same skillet add remaining olive oil and slowly cook the onions until they are translucent, about 2-3 minutes

5. ADD the marsala wine to the pan with the onions and cook until the wine has almost evaporated

6. ADD the sauce and ½ cup heavy cream and bring to a simmer

7. COOK the pasta according to the directions

8. DRAIN and toss the pasta with the sauce, chicken and basil

9. BEFORE serving top with the cheese
