Ingredients for 8 people


1 box Barilla® Thick Spaghetti
4 anchovies in oil
4 tablespoons fresh breadcrumbs
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp of chili pepper



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. Wash salt-packed anchovies in plenty of running water and bone them

2. Heat half the olive oil in a pan over low heat and add anchovies

3. Sauté for a few minutes until dissolved in the oil

4. Heat remaining oil in a different pan over medium heat and sauté fresh breadcrumbs with chili pepper for 2-3 minutes until slightly golden

5. Cook thick spaghetti in plenty of boiling water according to package directions

6. Drain and toss with anchovies and toasted breadcrumbs

7. A traditional dish for Christmas Eve
