Ingredients for 4 people


1 package Barilla® Veggie Penne
1 jar Barilla® Meat Sauce
1 small onion diced
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 package button mushrooms sliced
1 bag spinach
½ cup ricotta cheese
salt and pepper to taste
½ cup parmigiano cheese grated



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. MEANWHILE in a large skillet gently cook the onions until they are translucent

3. INCREASE the heat to high and add the mushrooms, saute for 2-3 minutes

4. ADD the sauce and the ricotta and bring the mixture to a simmer

5. COOK the pasta according to the package directions

6. DRAIN and toss the pasta with the sauce, spinach and parmigiano cheese
