Ingredients for 6 people


1 box Barilla® White Fiber Mini Rotini
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil divided
2 cloves garlic
2 anchovies (optional)
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 ½ pounds plum tomatoes peeled & crushed (or 1 jar Barilla® Tomato & Basil Sauce)
½ cup black olives pitted (kalamata style)
2 tablespoons capers preferably in salt rinsed
sea salt to taste
1 tablespoon parsley



Preparation 12 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. Saute garlic in 4 tablespoons olive oil with anchovies and red pepper

2. Just before garlic turns yellow, add tomatoes

3. Simmer five minutes

4. Add olives, capers and season with sea salt if needed

5. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions

6. Drain and toss with sauce

7. Sprinkle with parsley and drizzle with 2 tablespoons olive oil before serving
