Ingredients for 7 people


1 BOX Barilla®Whole Grain Linguine
2 TABLESPOONS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 CLOVE Garlic Chopped
1/4 Onion Chopped
1 TABLESPOON Fresh Parsley Chopped
2 Roasted Red Peppers Sliced Thin
1/4 CUP Water
1 CUP Romano Cheese Shredded
1 TEASPOON Lemon Juice



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 10 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. SAUTÉ garlic in olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat

3. ADD onion and continue cooking until the onion appears translucent

4. ADD parsley and sauté for 2 minutes over medium heat

5. ADD peppers and water; bring to a simmer

6. Season with salt and pepper

7. COOK pasta according to package directions

8. Meanwhile, TRANSFER sauce mixture to a blender and blend until smooth; pour back into skillet and bring to a simmer and then add lemon juice

9. DRAIN pasta and toss with sauce

10. Sprinkle cheese on top and allow to melt before serving
