Ingredients for 4 people


1 3/4 pounds flour
3 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
2 sticks + 2 tablespoons butter (17 1/2 tablespoons)
Lemon zest
grated
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup coarse white sprinkles
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
1 egg yolk



Preparation 20 minutes preparation + 45 minutes cooking
1. In a food processor, mix butter and sugar until creamy

2. Add eggs and milk in a stream with the motor running

3. Sift flour with baking powder and add grated lemon zest

4. Incorporate flour in the butter mixture

5. Knead well

6. Shape into a loaf with your hands

7. Line a baking sheet with oiled parchment paper and arrange the loaf of dough in an S-shape

8. Brush surface with beaten egg yolk and dust with sugar sprinkles and confectioner's sugar

9. Bake in a preheated 375°F for 40 - 45 minutes
