Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add whole garlic clove, but remove before it browns. Add cleaned, rinsed, boned and chopped anchovies and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes that have been peeled after plunging in boiling water, seeded and coarsely chopped. Simmer for 8 minutes. Add tuna, broken up with hands, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper and cook for two more minutes.
Meanwhile, boil pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package directions. Drain and dress with the tuna sauce before serving.
