Cheese Buns

Ingredients for 4 people

1 3/4 pounds (28 ounces) bread dough raised
¼ pound Pecorino Dolce cheese
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
oil to grease the baking sheet

Preparation 20 minutes preparation + 20 minutes cooking
1. Grate half of the Pecorino, and cut the other half into small pieces

2. Knead the bread dough with the oil and cheese (including the diced pieces)

3. Form into a loaf, cover with a dish towel or plastic wrap, and set aside in a warm place for about 15 minutes

4. Pinch off about a tablespoon of dough, roll into a rope and connect the ends to form a small ring

5. Use the remainder of the dough to make more rings

6. Arrange them apart from each other on a greased baking sheet

7. Allow to rise again for about 30 minutes

8. Bake in a hot oven (400°F) for about 20 minutes

9. Cool before serving
