Ingredients for 4 people

2 pounds almonds
2 pounds sugar
Extra virgin olive oil as needed

Preparation 25 minutes preparation + 30 minutes cooking
1. Plunge the almonds into boiling water for a few seconds, peel and chop coarsely

2. In a saucepan over medium heat, stir the almonds and sugar with a wooden spatula until dark brown

3. Immediately pour out on an oiled marble surface (or metal baking sheet)

4. Spread evenly with the wet blade of a knife

5. Cool and cut into pieces
