Ingredients for 4 people


5 ounces carasau flatbread
("sheet music")
2 cups semolina flour
3 eggs
½ cup milk
3 tablespoons warm salted water
oil for frying as needed
honey to taste



Preparation 20 minutes preparation + 5 minutes cooking

Mix flour with whole eggs, milk and a little warm salted water to form a smooth, firm dough. Allow to rest for a few minutes.

Break the flatbread into pieces and incorporate into the dough. Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

With a spoon, form dumplings from the dough and fry in hot oil (check the temperature with a few crumbs of dough).

Fry both sides, turning halfway. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve hot, drizzled with honey.
