Spaghetti with Fennel, Marinara Sauce and Mint

Ingredients for 4 people

1 BOX Barilla Spaghetti
1 JAR Barilla Marinara - Traditional Sauce
1/3 CUP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 CLOVE Garlic Minced
3 CUPS Fennel
1/2 CUP Romano Cheese Freshly Grated
2 TABLESPOONS Fresh Mint Chopped

Preparation 5 minutes preparation + 20 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium heat

3. Add garlic and sautè© 1-2 minutes or until yellow in color

4. CUT fennel into thin strips, reserving the top

5. Add to skillet and sautè© 3-5 minutes or until tender

6. ADD Marinara and simmer an additional 5 minutes

7. Season to taste; set aside

8. COOK Spaghetti according to package directions

9. Drain, add to sauce and toss

10. GARNISH with cheese, chopped mint and part of the fennel top
