Spaghetti with Fresh Tuna

Spaghetti with Fresh Tuna

First course


Ingredients for 4 people

1 lb spaghetti
1 pound fresh tuna fillet
salt to taste
2 ½ cups tomato sauce
4 tablespoons chopped parsley
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Preparation 15 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. Cut the tuna into ¾-inch cubes

2. Heat 2/3 of the oil in a pan over high heat

3. Add the tuna and sauté until golden brown

4. Remove from oil, drain, season with salt and keep hot

5. Heat the remaining oil in another pan over medium heat

6. Add the tomato sauce and cook for about 5 minutes

7. Add the fried tuna and season with salt to taste

8. Cook for another 5 minutes

9. Meanwhile, boil the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package directions

10. Drain and toss with the prepared tuna sauce

11. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately
