Tuna Carpaccio

Tuna Carpaccio

Ingredients for 4 people

1/2 pound fresh tuna fillets thinly sliced
4 tablespoons of lemon juice
4 tablespoons Academia Barilla Unfiltered Extra Virgin Italian Olive Oil
1 celery heart cut into strips
1/3 cup pitted olives
salt and pepper to taste
4 basil leaves
4 slices of bread
1 blood orange sliced thick

Preparation 15 minutes preparation
1. Arrange the tuna fillets on a serving platter

2. Dress with the lemon juice, salt and pepper and let marinate for five minutes

3. Drain the olives, cut into slices and combine with the celery and basil

4. Cover the tuna with the mixture and a drizzle of oil and serve with lukewarm crostini

5. For the crostini, sprinkle the bread with Academia Barilla Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sea salt, rub with a thick slice of blood orange and dust with freshly ground pepper

6. Toast in the oven or under the grill until golden brown
