US Ski Team member Mikaela Shiffrin is one of the hottest rising slalom and giant slalom stars in the world. Her meteoric rise to the most elite level of women’s alpine racing began in 2010 at the qualifying age of 15. Since then, she has been named World Cup 2012 Rookie of the Year and has won two U.S. Championships. Already this season, she has won two Audi FIS Alpine World Cup slalom races and became the second youngest American to win a World Cup race.

As a world-class skier, Mikaela chooses Barilla to help meet the nutritional demands of her rigorous training and racing schedule. The healthy options of Barilla Plus, Whole Grain, Veggie and White Fiber pasta help give her the energy and stamina she needs, no matter how big the race, or how tough the slope.
