The wheat Barilla uses to make Barilla® Pronto™ is the same wheat we use in our other pasta products. It is all natural and non-GMO. We do add vitamins/minerals to our pasta to meet enrichment standards.

For optimal results, we recommend following the instructions on pack. It is recommended to use a skillet approximately 12 inches in diameter.

Yes. You may store the Pronto™ just like you would store other pasta varieties, but for optimal results it’s best to eat fresh. Simply visit the FDA or USDA sites for proper food safety handling.

Barilla® Pronto™ can be used in pasta salad recipes.  Simply make the pasta according to package directions, without any additions until almost all of the liquid has evaporated.  Toss the pasta with the olive oil and place on a sheet tray to cool down. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients and stir to combine.

Barilla currently does not make any Barilla® Pronto™ shapes for soups. We suggest trying one of our soup shapes like Ditalini for your soup recipes.

Barilla suggests using traditional semolina pasta when preparing a casserole or baked dish. With more than 40 cuts, there’s certainly a cut your whole family will enjoy.

No, you may use whatever sauce (or olive oil) you like. Simply add it when the water has been absorbed.

For optimal taste and texture, we do not recommend this cooking method.
