A fresh and tasty meal, al dente Linguine, green beans, potatoes and delicious Pesto Genovese.

Ingredients 4 Number of Servings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 340gr Barilla Linguine
  • ½ jar Barilla Pesto Genovese
  • 100g potatoes, peeled and diced into cubes
  • 150gr green beans, sliced into small pieces
  • Sea salt and pepper, to taste
  • Rock salt, for cooking water

Instructions

  • COOK THE PASTA

    Bring a large pot of water to the boil and add salt. Drop the Linguine into the boiling water and cook as per instructions on the box. Four or five minutes before draining the pasta, add the green beans and potatoes into the pasta water.
  • COMBINE

    Once ready, drain pasta and vegetables into a large mixing bowl, reserving a little of the pasta water. Add the Pesto Genovese and a little of the cooking water as required and mix until everything is evenly coated in Pesto.

  • SERVE

    Serve with a drizzle of olive oil over the top, add a garnish of fresh basil for an extra pop of flavour.
