Ingredients 8 Number of Servings

  • 1 Box Barilla® Capellini
  • 1/4 Cup (63 mL) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Peeled
  • 1 Teaspoon (5 mL) Red Chili Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Pints Cherry Tomatoes Halved
  • 5 Leaves Fresh Basil
  • ½ Cup (170 g) Romano Cheese Grated

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet
  • Peel and gently press garlic
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes

  • Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and tear the basil into small pieces
  • Add cherry tomatoes and basil to the skillet
  • Simmer for 5 minutes

  • Season with salt

  • Discard garlic cloves

  • Cook pasta according to package directions
  • Drain and toss with sauce
  • Garnish with freshly grated Romano cheese
