  • 1 BOX Barilla® Spaghetti
  • 2 TABLESPOONS (30 mL) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 CLOVE Garlic Minced
  • 1/8 TEASPOON (1/2 mL) Red Chili Pepper Flakes
  • 6 Plum Tomatoes Chopped
  • 1 TEASPOON (5 mL) Salt
  • 1/8 TEASPOON (1/2 mL) Black Pepper Freshly Ground
  • 18 Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Cubed
  • 2 TEASPOONS (30 mL) Fresh Oregano Chopped

Instructions

  • BRING a large pot of water to a boil
  • HEAT oil in skillet over medium heat

  • ADD garlic and red pepper flakes; stir for 1 to 2 minutes
  • ADD tomatoes and salt and pepper; reduce heat to low
  • COOK for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
  • COOK pasta according to package directions; drain and return to pot
  • ADD hot pasta to skillet mixture
  • ADD cheese and stir until cheese is slightly melted
  • TRANSFER to serving platter
  • GARNISH with oregano leaves
