Ingredients

Ingredients for 8 people      

  • 1 box Barilla® Spaghettini
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
  • 1 ea diced onion
  • 2 pkgs (397 g) frozen artichokes (sliced in quarters)
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup (340 g) shredded Parmigiano cheese
  • 4 leaves basil leaves, sliced thin

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil
  • In a large skillet sauté onions in olive oil until slightly browned
  • Add quartered artichokes and sauté until golden, season with salt and pepper
  • Add sauce and red pepper flakes and bring to a simmer
  • Cook pasta according to package directions
  • Drain and toss with sauce
  • Toss with shredded Parmigiano cheese and basil
