Ingredients

Ingredients for 8 people

  • 1 box Barilla® Linguine
  • 1 tbs. (15 mL) peanut or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups (500 mL) chicken broth
  • 1 tbs. (15 mL) chili paste
  • 1 tbs. (15 mL) honey
  • 1 cucumber, sliced thin
  • 1 tbs. (15 mL) rice vinegar
  • 1 tbs. (15 mL) sesame oil
  • 2 tbs. (30 mL) cilantro
  • ½ cup (170 g) peanuts
  • 1 carrot diced small
  • 2 tbs. (30 mL) green onions diced
  • 1 cup lump crab
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil
  • Meanwhile, in a small pot bring chicken broth to a simmer, stir in peanut butter, chili paste and honey until the mixture is nice and smooth then set aside
  • In two separate small bowls combine cucumber and carrots with rice vinegar, cilantro, green onions and peanut oil
  • Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and cool down by rinsing it very briefly
  • Season with sesame oil, salt and pepper
  • Toss pasta with the peanut sauce
