Add a twist to your classic caprese salad with the addition of premium quality Barilla Rotini. A necessary recipe to include in your summer pasta salad rotation, this dish is quick & easy to make and fresh and full of flavour.
Ingredients 5 Number of Servings
1 box Barilla Rotini pasta
2 pints grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup basil leaves, julienne
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 cups Bocconcini Mozzarella cheese balls, halved
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine the tomatoes, basil, olive oil and cheese in a large bowl, season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook Barilla Rotini pasta for 7 to 8 minutes for perfect al dente texture. Set aside to cool.
Once pasta has cooled, add to the bowl of other ingredients, stir and enjoy!
