Bolognese Sauce

The sauce is ready to be add to your pasta but for enanching its falvour it is advisable to heat it in pan or in the microwave.

A simple and tasty recipe, prepared with sun-ripened Italian tomatoes and enriched with carrots, onions and garlic. This sauce is the perfect base for preparing a Bolognese ragù or to be enjoyed as it is with your favorite pasta shape. It has a fresh and Mediterranean flavour, ready to envelop your Barilla pasta.
If you want to use it to prepare Bolognese sauce take a pan and sauté your choice of meat with a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil. When the meat is browned, add the Bolognese sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. Add to your favourite pasta, stir and enjoy.
