1 box of Barilla No. 5 Spaghetti Pasta 500g

4 Cloves of garlic, sliced thickly

50ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil

50g Diced Chorizo for a smokey rich flavour

1 Tbsp TABASCO® Pepper Sauce (2 Tbsp for extra spicy)

2 Tablespoons flatleaf parsley, roughly chopped (reserve some parsley stalks beforehand)

  • Cook pasta according to packet instructions, less 2 minutes as we are going to cook further, reserving some cooking liquid.

  • Meanwhile heat the oil in a large shallow pan or skillet and add the garlic and some parsley stalks to infuse the oil without colouring the garlic. 
  • Add 50g Diced Chorizo for a smokey rich flavour
  • Remove the parsley stalks then add the pasta, Tabasco® Sauce and 250ml of cooking water.

  • Cook over high heat stirring continuously until most of the liquid is absorbed
  • If needed, add more of the pasta water until the pasta is at the desired texture.

  • Garnish with the chopped parsley before serving.
