With Tabasco sauce and Chorizo

Ingredients for 4 people
1 box of Barilla No. 5 Spaghetti Pasta 500g
4 Cloves of garlic, sliced thickly
50ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
50g Diced Chorizo for a smokey rich flavour
1 Tbsp TABASCO® Pepper Sauce (2 Tbsp for extra spicy)
2 Tablespoons flatleaf parsley, roughly chopped (reserve some parsley stalks beforehand)
Cook pasta according to packet instructions, less 2 minutes as we are going to cook further, reserving some cooking liquid.
- Meanwhile heat the oil in a large shallow pan or skillet and add the garlic and some parsley stalks to infuse the oil without colouring the garlic.
- Add 50g Diced Chorizo for a smokey rich flavour
Remove the parsley stalks then add the pasta, Tabasco® Sauce and 250ml of cooking water.
- Cook over high heat stirring continuously until most of the liquid is absorbed
If needed, add more of the pasta water until the pasta is at the desired texture.
Garnish with the chopped parsley before serving.
