  • 160g Barilla® Spaghetti
  • 400g Ripe tomatoes
  • 20g Extra virgin olive oil (evoo)
  • 1 Clove garlic
  • Basil leaves
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of suger
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  • Cut slightly the tomatoes, leave them in boiling water for some seconds, then let them cool down with ice and cut them into pieces
  • Heat a pan, add evoo and the garlic clove
  • Add the tomatoes and a little bit of salt and sugar, together with black pepper. Cook the sauce for some minutes
  • In the meanwhile cook the Spaghetti as per pack description.
  • Drain the pasta “al dente”, add the sauce, a couple of basil leaves and evoo, and ready to serve
