Ingredient for 8 people:

  • 8 Free range chicken eggs
  • 1 Jar Barilla®  Basilico sauce
  • 40ml olive oil
  • 10 Basil leaves
  • Salt & pepper
  • 4/8 slices of Italian bread, grilled
  • 1 garlic clove

Instructions

  • Pour Barilla sauce in a pan and bring to boil 
  • To make sure the egg comes out whole, open it in a glass rather than the pan
  • Low the heat and pour the eggs into the sauce, one by one and keep the space between them 
  • Cook for 1 minute, then cover the pan with a lid, turn off the heat and leave cover for 3~5 minutes ( depend how you like the eggs cook)
  • Sprinkle with basil leaves, scrape the bread with garlic. Serve hot
