U.S. Qualifying Event Winner for the Pasta World Championship
After winning the U.S. Qualifying Event on April 11 for Barilla’s 2019 Pasta World Championship, Sean Turner, executive chef of Louie in Clayton, Mo., will be moving on to represent the U.S. in Barilla's global competition in Europe this October. Chef Turner wowed the judges at the 12th annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival with his winning dish of Bucatini Pistachio Pesto, featuring Barilla's Collezione Bucatini pasta topped with pistachio pesto and grated Parmigiano-Reggiano.
